Love this pattern! I’ll definitely be using it again and again. I originally purchased it to make my son’s DIY Halloween costume (a Niffler) and wasn’t sure how it would handle faux fur—especially since I’m a very beginner-level sewer. But let me tell you, I’m so glad I chose this one!

The instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made the whole process surprisingly smooth. The pattern photos showed it made with a thicker boucle-style fabric, so I figured the fit would be a little looser and give the costume some nice structure. Since my fur was bulky, I cut everything slightly larger to allow extra seam allowance, and that worked perfectly.

I made a few small edits to customize it for the Niffler. Larger Hood, added tail, changed pocket opening. (Also made pants)
