Season Pass Sweatpants are trendy unisex sweatpants designed with a relaxed, easy silhouette and plenty of options to make them your own. They are designed primarily for medium-weight knit fabrics and pair perfectly with Season Pass Sweatshirt for a full matching set.
Pattern includes optional inseam pockets, back patch pocket, decorative side stripes, piping, waistband drawstring, and optional adjustable hem drawstrings with cord locks. Choose a clean classic version or add sporty details for a more ready-to-wear tracksuit look.
Side stripes can be made using twill tape, pre-made bias tape, or similar decorative trim. If combining decorative side stripes with hem drawstrings, buttonhole or stripe placement may need to be adjusted so hem buttonholes remain accessible.
Recommended fabrics include medium-weight knit fabrics with moderate stretch, such as sweatshirt fleece, French terry, cotton fleece, loopback jersey, interlock, medium-weight jersey, and similar sweatshirt knits. Lightweight knit or woven fabric may be used for pocket lining.
Waist is finished with elastic and optional drawstring. Hem can be finished as a standard straight hem or with optional elastic drawstrings and cord locks for an adjustable gathered finish.
Because this pattern includes optional pocket, piping, drawstring, and overlock construction, we recommend some prior sewing experience.
